很多托福同學都會吐槽，在聽力中總有一些小的短語詞匯或者表達方式，會導致自己聽不懂一個句子，尤其是在對話類conversation中，所以這次小站君連線托福名師范霖老師，給大家梳理托福聽力中的那些高頻優秀表達，希望能夠幫助大家掃清理解的障礙，讓大家一聽就懂。

句子：The patterns on the wings of moths and butterflies that are generally believed to scare off predators because they look like big eyes?
英文解釋：if you scare people or animal off, you frighten them so that they go away.

句子:?this
