· 為什么需要考？

AP分?jǐn)?shù)3分以上（滿分5分）的學(xué)生在大學(xué)學(xué)業(yè)成功概率更高；

“Research consistently shows that students who receive a score of 3 or higher on AP Exams typically experience greater academic success in college and have higher graduation rates than their non-AP peers.” —College Board

AP分?jǐn)?shù)3分以上可以替換成大學(xué)的學(xué)分（5 分＝A；4 分＝A?, B+,? B；3 分＝B?, C+,? C）；

AP備考過程可以幫助你明白自己是否喜歡某個(gè)專業(yè)（心理學(xué)，經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)，歷史，文學(xué)，數(shù)學(xué)等）；

· 得分情況怎么樣？難考嗎？

College Board 統(tǒng)計(jì)了去年考生在各個(gè)學(xué)科中的各個(gè)分?jǐn)?shù)項(xiàng)的百分比 (見下表)。在歷史社科類中，AP各學(xué)科考試人數(shù)和3分以上的考生比例是：

我們可以看到考美國史的人數(shù)在歷史社科中是相對(duì)最大的（僅次于英語語言English Language，排第三參考人數(shù)最多的是English Literature），大多數(shù)本土考生的選擇也許是實(shí)際角度出發(fā)，畢竟美國歷史和英語語言／文學(xué)是美高都已經(jīng)學(xué)過的內(nèi)容，拿到3分以上應(yīng)該相對(duì)值得的事。這就很迷了，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)實(shí)是美國史拿到高分的比例卻相對(duì)比較低。這個(gè)考試不是想像中的那么容易，為什么考試人數(shù)那么多呢？

也許，即便實(shí)現(xiàn)考分需要加大功夫，但這個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)的過程是值得的。對(duì)于我們即將去美國讀本科的學(xué)生們來說更是如此。備考美國史的過程，考生需要訓(xùn)練閱讀歷史文獻(xiàn)的能力，語言層面上是詞匯積累和應(yīng)用的過程，在思維層面上，分析不同歷史觀點(diǎn)，思考起因經(jīng)過和影響，并把階段歷史放在大的歷史背景去審視，是學(xué)習(xí)辯證思維（critical thinging skills）的過程。

· AP美國史考什么內(nèi)容呢？

【第一部分】

Part A. 多選題55道，占比40%，55分鐘，知識(shí)點(diǎn)范圍1491年到現(xiàn)在。考生需要閱讀歷史文獻(xiàn)（文字，圖表或者圖片），然后回答2-5題，例如：

Part B. 簡(jiǎn)答題3道， 占比20%，40分鐘， 兩道知識(shí)點(diǎn)范圍1754～1980年，一道二選一，考生需要閱讀歷史文獻(xiàn)（文字，圖表或者圖片）回答對(duì)應(yīng)的問題，不需要考生詳細(xì)論證支持一個(gè)論點(diǎn)，例如：

【第二部分】

Part A. 文獻(xiàn)分析題1道，占比25%，60分鐘，知識(shí)點(diǎn)范圍1754～1980年。這部分需要考生閱讀需要閱讀并分析九篇?dú)v史文獻(xiàn)（文字，圖表或者圖片）；

Part B. 獨(dú)立寫作題1道，占比15%，40分鐘， 題目三選一，范圍分別為1491～1800年，1800～1898年，1890～2018，需要有歷史事件為依據(jù)，多角度分析。

總共三個(gè)小時(shí)十五分鐘的考試，有兩個(gè)技能是被強(qiáng)調(diào)的：1.閱讀歷史文獻(xiàn)；2.分析歷史文獻(xiàn)。

考過SAT的同學(xué)會(huì)不會(huì)覺得很眼熟？是的！和SAT閱讀中的歷史文獻(xiàn)閱讀，以及寫作中的分析歷史文獻(xiàn)是一樣一樣的！

· 我該怎么備考呢？

重點(diǎn)來了，既然這么難這么重要這么有價(jià)值，我們?cè)撛趺磦淇寄兀亢?jiǎn)單的說，投入很重要，時(shí)間上需要充足的準(zhǔn)備。

特別是如果我們還沒全面學(xué)習(xí)過美國史（或者上了課，但沒怎么重視且走心的學(xué)習(xí)），那么Domino建議至少需要三個(gè)月的時(shí)間去準(zhǔn)備。

一個(gè)半月時(shí)間熟悉教材內(nèi)容，看一遍 Ameican Pageant? (這本書有一千多頁，很厚，也很詳盡)，或者看三遍 Direct Hits US History in a Flash （不到四百頁，主要事件和時(shí)期的高度概括，更貼近考點(diǎn)）, 能清晰整理出九個(gè)美國歷史時(shí)期的時(shí)間脈絡(luò)和重要事件。

所以今年五月份的考試，這個(gè)寒假就開始準(zhǔn)備是很有比較的哦。
