項(xiàng)目介紹

美國北卡數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)North Carolina State Mathematics Contest，始于1979年，由美國數(shù)學(xué)教師協(xié)會(huì)（NCTM）下的北卡數(shù)學(xué)教師協(xié)會(huì)（NCCTM）發(fā)起的數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)，是美國北卡州規(guī)模最大、影響力最大的中學(xué)生數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)，至今已成功舉辦41屆，累計(jì)擁有超25萬名學(xué)生、逾1000所學(xué)校參賽。比賽由資深數(shù)學(xué)家及學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)專家組成的專業(yè)命題委員會(huì)命題，題目新穎，形式簡(jiǎn)潔，難易結(jié)合，充分展現(xiàn)數(shù)學(xué)之美。杜克大學(xué)、北卡教堂山、維克森林、戴維森學(xué)院等20多所大學(xué)均為成績(jī)優(yōu)異者提供全額或部分獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金優(yōu)待。2018年起，中國學(xué)生可在國內(nèi)參加北卡數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)的資格賽及總決賽。

學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)規(guī)則

語言：英文

參賽對(duì)象：7-12年級(jí)在校學(xué)生

賽事詳情：分為資格賽和總決賽

題型介紹：

SMC資格賽和決賽的選擇題，均是從5個(gè)選項(xiàng)里面選出一個(gè)正確答案。題目的計(jì)算量不大，對(duì)解題速度要求較高，重點(diǎn)考察學(xué)生對(duì)數(shù)學(xué)問題的洞察力，鼓勵(lì)聰明的猜測(cè)（Smart Guess）

SMC決賽的填空題為10道，題目涵蓋高中代數(shù)，幾何，數(shù)論，組合，對(duì)數(shù)，三角函數(shù)及復(fù)習(xí)知識(shí)，很多題目都比較巧妙，考察學(xué)生對(duì)不常規(guī)數(shù)學(xué)問題快速而又創(chuàng)造性的解題能力

資格賽

考試時(shí)長(zhǎng)：60分鐘

考試題型：單選題，總計(jì)20題，答對(duì)得4分，不答得1分，答錯(cuò)扣0分

考試地點(diǎn)：全國主要城市各學(xué)校考點(diǎn)

難度對(duì)比：適中，與AMC10、美國SMC資格賽難度相似

總決賽

考試時(shí)長(zhǎng)：90分鐘

參賽對(duì)象：?在資格賽中排名前10%，或獲得晉級(jí)2021年AIME資格者

考試題型：

單選題總計(jì)20道，答對(duì)得4分，不答得1分，答錯(cuò)得0分；
解答題總計(jì)10道，答對(duì)得5分，不答或答錯(cuò)得0分；
附加題不計(jì)入總分，僅在區(qū)分總分相同的排名者中使用

考試地點(diǎn)：全國主要城市各學(xué)校考點(diǎn)

難度對(duì)比：較難，與AMC12難度相似

注意事項(xiàng)：不允許攜帶電子產(chǎn)品，可攜帶紙質(zhì)英漢字典

Problem:

A survey of 60 graduate and undergraduate students attending a university found that 9 were living off campus and 36 were undergraduates. Also, 3 were undergraduate living off campus.

Problem:

At a game show, after hearing the last question, you have the option to keep your current win and go hone, or to answer the question. If you answer the last question correctly, the amount you won gets doubled. If you give an incorrect answer,you get to take home only half of your current win. The probability that the answer you have in mind is correct is p. What is the smallest p that would make your expected win, if you answer the last question , at last question, at least as large as your current win ? ?
