MIT Summer Program

MIT開設(shè)了一系列的暑期項目；和MIT這個學校的屬性一樣，這些項目主要側(cè)重于理科方向，具體包括：

Math Summer Program

在數(shù)學夏校上，PROMYS青年科學家數(shù)學計劃（Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists），羅斯數(shù)學夏令營 (ROSS)，和斯坦福大學數(shù)學夏令營（SUMaC）并稱為美國三大頂尖數(shù)學訓練營。

PROMYS is a six-week summer program at Boston University designed to encourage strongly motivated high school students to explore in depth the creative world of mathematics in a supportive community of peers, counselors, research mathematicians, and visiting scientists. ?Professor Glenn Stevens, the Director of PROMYS, founded the program in 1989 together with other members of the current faculty.

PROMYS數(shù)學夏令營時間為六周，是由克雷數(shù)學中心資助和創(chuàng)建，在波士頓大學校園內(nèi)舉辦的一個為期六周的暑期項目。旨在鼓勵、激發(fā)高中學生深度探索創(chuàng)造性的數(shù)學世界。

每年錄取80人，申請難度要略低于羅斯數(shù)學營。

ROSS

Ross數(shù)學夏令（Ross?Mathematics?Program) 是于1957年創(chuàng)辦，由俄亥俄州立大學主辦，克雷數(shù)學研究所協(xié)辦的美國大學頂尖數(shù)學夏令營之一。

Ross旨在激勵學生用數(shù)學藝術(shù)來思考世界，并且培養(yǎng)學生的獨立思維和批判性思維。

時間：June 12? - July 24, 2018

Stanford Math Camp

“

Stanford University Mathematics Camp (SUMaC) leads participants?on a journey in advanced mathematics through lectures, guided research, and group problem solving. In a social environment centered on mathematics, participants explore current lines of mathematical research, the historical development of important areas of mathematics, and applications across scientific disciplines.

斯坦福數(shù)學夏令營（Stanford University Mathematics Camp）是專門針對高一和高二學生拓展數(shù)學能力的學術(shù)型項目類的夏校。于 1994 年創(chuàng)辦，由美國非營利醫(yī)學研究所—霍華德 · 休斯醫(yī)學研究所資助。美國國家數(shù)學基金會和斯坦福大學數(shù)學學院在SUMaC上也給予了部分支持。

時間：July 16?– August 11

地點：斯坦福大學

申請條件：10或11年級的學生

Hampshire Summer Studies in Math

HCSSiM時間為六周，位于麻省西面處的Hampshire College；每年一共招收45個學生，申請人數(shù)在400左右。整個夏令營風格偏向于mathematical research，注重培養(yǎng)學生的邏輯和思維。

申請是免費的，但需要做完一份夏校發(fā)過來的數(shù)學試題。試題整體方向同樣注重于邏輯和思維。

Awesome Math

AwesomeMath是一項為參加數(shù)學學術(shù)活動的學生開設(shè)的數(shù)學能力提升類項目。旨在拓展學生在數(shù)學學術(shù)活動中的技能與知識。項目為期三周，共分為三個校區(qū)，分別是德州達拉斯分校、圣何塞州立大學、康奈爾大學。分別的時間是：

Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC)

The Mathworks Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC) is an intensive multi-summer program for high school students. The goal of the program is to develop talented students of all socioeconomic backgrounds through immersive and in-depth experiences in a unique learning environment. ?Students develop important skills for future degrees and careers in math, science, engineering, and many other fields.

Mathworks Honors Summer Math Camp旨在培養(yǎng)具有各種社會經(jīng)濟背景的優(yōu)秀學生。錄取率為20%。
