Columbia University Summer Immersion暑期沉浸項(xiàng)目是哥倫比亞大學(xué)旗下為高中生和大一新生準(zhǔn)備的學(xué)術(shù)型夏校，時(shí)長(zhǎng)分三周和一周兩種。哥倫比亞大學(xué)（Columbia University），簡(jiǎn)稱為哥大。八大常春藤盟校之一，2018年US News 排名第5，是一所位于美國(guó)紐約曼哈頓的世界頂級(jí)的私立研究型大學(xué)。Summer Immersion暑期沉浸項(xiàng)目根據(jù)不時(shí)長(zhǎng)不同地區(qū)共分3個(gè)項(xiàng)目，分別針對(duì)不同年級(jí)的學(xué)生：

- Barcelona巴薩羅那：3周項(xiàng)目，針對(duì)進(jìn)入grades 11-12在校學(xué)生以及秋季即將成為大一新生
- 由哥大與?University of Barcelona巴塞羅那大學(xué)合作的項(xiàng)目。巴塞羅那大學(xué)與1450年成立，是Catalonia地區(qū)最古老的學(xué)校，也是西班牙第二大的大學(xué)。在巴塞羅那大學(xué)的三周時(shí)間里，學(xué)生將由機(jī)會(huì)全面感受巴塞羅那的歷史、藝術(shù)、城市發(fā)展以及語言，幫助他們加深對(duì)對(duì)歐洲共同體如何發(fā)展地方、區(qū)域、國(guó)家和國(guó)際身份的理解。學(xué)生們除了在課堂上跟著巴塞羅那大學(xué)的教授學(xué)習(xí)外，還將有機(jī)會(huì)進(jìn)入城市本身，瀏覽重要景點(diǎn)等。
整個(gè)Summer Immersion哥大沉浸式夏校比較適合剛上高中的同學(xué)們，沒有學(xué)業(yè)的緊張和考試的壓力，可以盡情的享受名校的教育資源，體驗(yàn)美國(guó)的教育和文化，也能在夏校的學(xué)習(xí)中提升自己的背景實(shí)力，更重要的是，你可以在夏校過程中發(fā)現(xiàn)自己感興趣的學(xué)科方向，為將來的申請(qǐng)做出合理的計(jì)劃和準(zhǔn)備。俗話說的好，只有經(jīng)歷了才知道適合不適合自己！

Barcelona巴薩羅那
所有選擇Barcelona巴薩羅那校區(qū)的學(xué)生，都必須參加以下四門課程，課程為英語授課：
- Barcelona in Historical Context:Roman Origins to the Spanish Civil War：教師將在西班牙和歐洲的背景下，通過參觀考古發(fā)掘、博物館、宮殿、紀(jì)念碑和房屋 等幫助學(xué)生對(duì)歐洲城市的發(fā)展尤其是這座城市有更多的了解。每周課時(shí)三個(gè)半小時(shí)，課程研究的課題包括:

- 針對(duì)9-12年級(jí)在校學(xué)生以及大一新生，入營(yíng)滿16周歲可住宿，滿15周歲經(jīng)批準(zhǔn)可住宿
- 對(duì)申請(qǐng)學(xué)生沒有GPA的最低要求，但是需要學(xué)生具備必要的學(xué)術(shù)背景和能力及學(xué)習(xí)的積極性
- 部分學(xué)生可能會(huì)被抽取面試
- 對(duì)于國(guó)際學(xué)生沒有語言標(biāo)化成績(jī)的硬性提交要求，但是要求語言能力TOEFL不低于90分IELTS不低于6.5分
- 國(guó)際學(xué)生簽證：由于項(xiàng)目并不提供學(xué)分及學(xué)術(shù)證書所以不提供學(xué)生簽證，不過前期學(xué)生以旅游B簽證參加項(xiàng)目
